Description
In the mid to late 1800s, farmers began to ship their products in fabric sacks rather than barrels. Women quickly realized that they could repurpose the fabric to make quilts and other household items. In the 1920s, companies caught on and began shipping their goods in pretty cotton fabrics to entice their female customers. A customer of ours recently found her grandmothers flour sack “stash” and were happy to purchase the entire collection. Selling by the full piece.
